EVL Stacked Greens Reviews

Are EVL Stacked Greens Good?

EVL Stacked Greens Is Very Heavy On The Cheaper Ingredients, A Simple Case Of Getting What You Pay For.

EVL Stacked Greens is a daily greens dietary supplement manufactured by Evlution Nutrition. The brand say it's packed with certified organic natural greens and all the nutrients a person could need, GMO and gluten free, vegan friendly, and comes in two orchard apple flavor options, both of which tastes good.

Evlution Nutrition claim that mixing a scoop of the Stacked Greens powder with cold water to your taste preference can provide hydration and immunity support and make you feel great. However, after doing our own reviews of Stacked Greens, we can confirm that the supplement is not as amazing as it sounds.

The EVL Stacked Greens ingredients consist of wheat grass, organic spirulina powder, freeze dried coconut water powder, organic beet root juice powder, and wheat grass juice powder, as well as the Organic Greens and BettaBerries Antioxidants proprietary blends.

While a number of these ingredients are indeed proven to benefit your health, most are either present in dosages that are far too low or lumped into proprietary blends, which are only used to mask the doses present in low quality supplements, a job which they fail to perform effectively here.

They are then surrounded by other ingredients that have little to no conclusive evidence that they will benefit your health at all. Peoples taste preference even seems to vary on the flavor options, which is advertised as one of the major reasons why the product has sold so well with different age groups.

This is why, for best results, we strongly suggest that you do not buy Evlution Nutrition Stacked Greens. There are much better greens powders available.

Best Greens Powders

EVL Stacked Greens Ingredients

Wheat Grass - 3,000 MG

Wheat grass is the new sprouts that grow on top of the wheat plant and it is rich in antioxidants, fibre, minerals, phytonutrients, and vitamins, while being very low in calories.

There are claims that it can prevent or reduce oxidative stress and damage, inflammation, the risk of heart disease, high cholesterol, arthritis, and certain other health issues.

The problem is, none of these claims have been conclusively proven. That means the inclusion of wheat grass in EVL Stacked Greens is not guaranteed to do anything at all (1).

Green Balance Organic Greens Blend - 1,000 MG

Organic Alfalfa Grass Powder (Young Leaves)

Alfalfa is a flowering plant in the legume family that contains pinitol, a potent antioxidant that research suggests will improve the health and functions of your kidneys, liver, and digestive system, while also being beneficial for your other organs and reducing inflammation throughout your body (2).

Unfortunately, alfalfa has only been proven to produce these effects if you consume large quantities of the fresh plant. This means the alfalfa powder they add to EVL Stacked Greens is virtually assured to be of no use.

Organic Wheat Grass Powder (Young Leaves)

The organic wheat grass powder we see in the Organic Greens Blend is exactly the same as what we examined at the top of the ingredients list, so is again not guaranteed to be of any use in EVL Stacked Greens.

Organic Barley Grass Powder (Young Leaves)

Organic barley grass powder contains numerous essential nutrients and can benefit the human body in a range of different ways, including supporting heart health, boosting weight loss, and lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels (3).

The issue is, for it to do any of this, you need to consume at least 1 gram of barley grass powder per day. As the entire Organic Greens Blend it is in weighs just a gram in its entirety, a scoop of EVL Stacked Greens simply cannot contain enough to benefit your health.

Organic Kale Powder (Young Leaves)

Kale is one of the most widely eaten leafy green vegetables on Earth and it is full of phytochemicals, minerals, and vitamins. It is capable of benefitting your health in countless different ways, and is said to be particularly useful for reducing inflammation, LDL cholesterol levels, and your risk of heart disease.

However, these benefits are only produced if you consume at least 5 grams of kale per day (4). As this is five times the weight of the entire Organic Greens blend the kale powder is found in, it is therefore impossible for EVL Stacked Greens to contain enough for it to be of any use.

Organic Oat Grass Powder (Young Leaves)

Oat grass powder comes from a long dense grass that is very similar to the one we get the common oat from. It is claimed to be rich in fibre, protein, minerals, and vitamins and improve the health of your skin, immune system, and gut (5).

Unfortunately, there has been very little research done on oat grass powder, so none of these claims have ever been proven. This means its inclusion in EVL Stacked Greens is highly unlikely to provide any benefits.

Organic Spirulina Powder (Whole Plant)

Spirulina is a type of blue green algae that is full of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, protein and healthy fatty acids. It can boost metabolism, heart health, weight loss and your body composition, and reduce free radicals, oxidative stress and damage, inflammation, and blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

The problem is, it will only do any of this if you consume at least 2 grams of spirulina per day (6). As the organic greens blend they add it to weighs just 1 gram in its entirety, it is simply impossible for EVL Stacked Greens to contain enough spirulina to be of any use.

Organic Lemon Fruit Juice Powder

Organic lemon fruit juice is rich in vitamin c, so can enhance skin and gut health and functions, regulate blood pressure levels, boost the immune system, promote weight loss, help keep you hydrated, and offer a variety of other health benefits.

However, you need to consume massive doses of lemon juice for it to do any of this, while none of its effects have ever been proven to be produced by its powdered form (7). This means the lemon fruit juice powder they add to EVL Stacked Greens is highly unlikely to do anything at all.

Organic Chlorella Powder (Whole Root)

Organic chlorella powder is a type of chlorophyte green algae rich in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins that can boost your energy levels faster than sugar, without causing blood sugar spikes, reduce your cholesterol, combat some diseases, detoxify the body, and improve your overall health and wellness (8).

As no optimal dose of chlorella has ever been set, there is a chance that EVL Stacked Greens actually contains a useful dose of this ingredient. However, as it is buried right at the bottom of a large list of ingredients with no dosages listed, it is still very unlikely that it does.

Organic Astragalus Powder (10:1) (Whole Root)

Astragalus is a genus of herb and flowering plant, the root extract of which is an anti inflammatory that boosts immune system, heart and liver health and functions, and testosterone production, and reduces LDL cholesterol levels.

To produce these effects you must consume at least 30 mg of astragalus per day (9). This makes it a rare instance where EVL Stacked Greens possibly contains a useful dose of a proven ingredient, but the proprietary blend makes it impossible to know.

Organic Spirulina Powder - 250 MG

The organic spirulina powder we see here is exactly the same as what we saw in the Organic Greens Blend. While we can at least see the dosage present this time around, it is still far lower than the 2 grams that is needed to produce effects, even if you add both portions in each scoop together.

This means it is again of no use in EVL Stacked Greens.

BettaBerries Antioxidant Blend - 100 MG

The BettaBerries Antioxidant Blend consists of acai fruit juice powder, jabuticaba fruit juice powder, goji fruit extract powder, pomegranate fruit juice powder, acerola fruit juice powder, mangosteen fruit super ORAC powder, organic amla fruit powder, strawberry fruit juice powder, cranberry fruit juice powder, organic schisandra fruit berry extract powder, and organic maqui fruit berry powder.

While some of the fruit and berry powders present can be useful, that is only the case is you either eat them fresh or take a serving that is far greater than what can possibly be present in one scoop. They are then surrounded by other ingredients that are not proven to be of any use at all.

This means drinking the BettaBerries Antioxidant Blend in EVL Stacked Greens is a complete waste of time for everything other than the taste.

CocoOganic Coconut Water Freeze Dried Powder - 100 MG

Coconut water powder is manufactured from the clear liquid found in the centre of a coconut and is packed with electrolytes and minerals like iron, potassium, magnesium, and sodium.

It can improve hydration, boost energy levels, brain functions and weight loss, help you digest foods better, and prevent and treat inflammation and certain illnesses and conditions, such as kidney stones.

The issue is, to produce these effects, you must consume at least 10 grams of coconut water powder per day (10). With a scoop of EVL Stacked Greens containing just a fraction of this at 100 mg per serving, it is guaranteed to be of absolutely no use.

Organic Beet Root Juice Powder - 100 MG

Beetroot is high in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins and can reduce inflammation, blood pressure, and cholesterol, improve eye, heart, and immune system health, stamina, and energy levels, protect the blood and internal organs from toxicity and damage, and combat various diseases (11).

However, you need to consume at least 500 mg of beet root each day for it to be of any use. This means the 100 mg of organic beet root juice powder in each scoop of EVL Stacked Greens will be of absolutely no use.

NutraGrass Wheat Grass Juice Powder - 100 MG

Wheat grass juice powder comes from the same plant as the two previous types of wheat grass we have examined. The only difference is that this is made by juicing the new sprouts that grow on top of the wheat plant in a juicer or blender and then dehydrating the juice, rather than simply grinding them.

The different manufacturing process results in the powder and juice each retaining slightly different percentages of the nutrients that the plant contains. However, this also means that it is again not guaranteed to provide any benefits in EVL Stacked Greens.
