Hunter Focus Review: It Topped Our Best Nootropics List For A Reason

Hunter Focus is a reliable, tested nootropic which offers benefits such as enhanced memory/recall, an improved level of focus and elevated mood. Other benefits of taking Hunter Focus are boosted creativity, increased energy levels, and optimised learning.

The only real downside for Hunter Focus is that it's a lot of pills per day. There's a whole host of ingredients in here, which is why, but even still 6 capsules a day will put a lot of people off.

There is also a small amount of caffeine (100mg at best) inside each capsule, which should be taken into account relating to a daily caffeine intake.

Does Hunter Focus Work, Like They Say?

Hunter Focus claims to offer improvement in six key areas. These areas are enhancing memory, improving focus, elevating mood, increasing energy levels, boosting creativity, and optimising the brain for learning.   These claims are typical of most nootropics, but unlike others, Hunter Focus contains the ingredients required to deliver what it promises. The majority of nootropics are nothing more than “snake oil” - fanciful ingredients that sound appealing on a label but do little in reality. Hunter Focus is different, offering a range of ingredients which are known to be helpful for the body.

Customer’s Hunter Focus Reviews

The bulk of the Hunter focus reviews were good, our experience was good. Hunter Focus isn’t the most well known nootropic at the moment, so there’s not a huge amount of them to go off. But, with it’s open ingredients list it’s not really surprising that the reviews and testomonials it does have are positive.

Our test of Hunter Focus  have resulted in it being our go to brain booster, so you know what we think of it.

Hunter Focus Ingredients

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is used as a vital component in allowing the human body to turn fat into energy. It’s primarily made in the brain, liver and kidneys. We’re not completely sure why this is in a supplement like Hunter Focus.

L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that we use for the synthesis of dopamine, among other chemicals in the brain. Dopamine is just one of the three neurotransmitters created by L-Tyrosine. The other two are epinephrine and norepinephrine. The three of them work together to create improved memory, motivation, and focus [1].

Lion’s mane, known to some as Hericium Erinaceus is a good way to protect against dementia, reduce the symptoms of anxiety, depression and can assist in the repair of nerve damage. It is also known for antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting power.
Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine Anhydrous is a version of caffeine which is extracted with no water, and uses the seeds and leaves of coffee plants to create a highly concentrated version of caffeine.

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is used for the treatment of things like age-related memory degradation. A condition like Alzheimer’s disease is a common example.

Experts agree that the substance is “one of the most effective and important nootropics we have available [2]”. PS is an amino acid derivative - an aminophospholipid. Therefore, it can help to both repair and renew neurons [3]. PS can have a positive effect on memory.

PS works by boosting the metabolism of glucose, which is fuel for the brain. As one of the most rigorously tested nootropic ingredients in the market, PS’s anti-stress benefits are well known.

Maritime Pine Bark Extract is primarily used to manage symptoms of ADHD and to help combat a decline in memory. Memory loss is more common with age so the extract is good for older adults.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract can be used effectively to combat stress, increase mental performance, and improve mental fitness. It can also help with improving brain function and reducing symptoms of depression.

Spanish sage is used primarily to help with the symptoms of memory loss and Alzheimer’s, being an effective way to combat memory issues.

Citicoline is a chemical in the brain which occurs in the body. When it is consumed, the body splits it up into choline and cytidine. Choline is converted into acetylcholine, which helps to improve the signal strength between neurons, which boosts recall, learning, attention and memory skills [4]. The body also uses the cytidine by converting it into uridine. This chemical helps to repair brain cells to help them stay functional for longer.

L-theanine is an amino acid which comes naturally from tea. As an amino acid, it is what gives the tea the anti-stress properties which many people enjoy. It can also help you to feel more alert, calm and relaxed by improving the levels of serotonin, GABA and dopamine in the body [5].

Bacopa is a normally acoustic plant. Traditionally, Bacopa was believed to improve cognitive performance, and these claims have since been both verified and tested. The reason for this is Bacopa’s abundance of two ingredients - bacosides A and B. These compounds help to improve the strength of signals sent to your neurons. This leads to a better balance of mood, slower ageing of the brain, and faster processing overall [6].

Ashwagandha is a mood raiser, shown to reduce cortisol build up. As an Ayurvedic drug, ashwagandha helps with both anxiety, and depression and also helps with cognitive performance by reducing cortisol build up.

Ginseng is good for improving your mood, promoting cognitive ability and helping to keep you calm. It can also help with reducing inflammation of the body and fighting depressive symptoms.

Ginkgo Biloba has been shown to help improve mood, cut down anxiety, and reduce cortisol, which is connected to adrenaline. It also has several cognitive-enhancing abilities.

Vitamin B6 is required for normal and healthy development of the brain and nervous systems.

Vitamin B9 is important for the growth and development of both DNA and RNA. It also helps to make red blood cells. We’re not sure why this is here in the context of a supplement for brain and memory.

Vitamin B12 is usually found in animal products and is vital for the development of new brain and nerve cells. A vitamin B12 deficiency has been linked to memory loss in older adults so it is important to maintain a regular intake.

Vitamin C works within the central nervous system and your brain to serve as a neuromodulator, which means that it helps your cells to use things like dopamine.

Vitamin D is a neuroprotective vitamin - it helps to regulate the immune system, and assists with regulating many genes vital to normal brain function.

Vitamin K2 helps contribute to normal skin health and bone metabolism, promotes proper brain function and helps to prevent heart disease.

Hunter Focus Review Conclusion

Hunter Focus has a lot of proven benefits which make it a fantastic all round nootropic. With a full list of ingredients and nothing left out, we had a good experience with the brain booster as did the majority of their customer base. It's the most fully dosed nootropic stack that we've come across and it is notably cheaper than Quallia which is really the only product that compares to Hunters ingredients list.

The only downside is the 6 pills per day, but for the best results, and to make sure you get every possible nootropic, then those are the dosages that are needed for each of those ingredients to be effective.
